Airsoft is a combat sport similar to Paintball in which participants eliminate their opponents by hitting them with (6 mm or occasionally 8 mm) plastic BBs (small, spherical balls) launched from airsoft guns. These can be powered by CO2, Green Gas, spring, or electrically powered gearboxes actuating a piston.
Head towards the Zoo, Just before the Zoo is a turning to the right (C93), Follow the road and start down the hill as if heading to Rozel. You should pass what was the La Tourelle Hotel on your left and a lovely view of the sea. Keep going, you'll pass a large group of houses/farms and the turning on your left for white rock. Slow down at this point and keep going down, you should see a sign and someone in camo with a hi-vis jacket standing on your right. Please be aware there is only a limited amount of on road parking so we would ask that people share lifts or get dropped off. Further parking is available at white rock.
Perhaps the most common question with airsoft, how do you know you've been hit? Unlike paintball, no visible mark is left on your person or equipment. This however will not stop you from feeling the hit at which point you are required to shout that you've been hit and retire to a safe zone.
What if you feel like cheating? Well if you're that sort of person then no matter what the sport, your going to cheat. Is there any point in you playing!
What if i just didn't feel the hit? Not a problem, we accept in certain circumstances people just don't feel hits. In hot zones or areas of fast and furious play marshals will be present keeping an eye on things and will point out a hit if not taken/missed.
